Try asking at fabric stores and dry cleaners. Seamstresses often post business cards at fabric stores. Finding one that can pattern from a picture may be tricky. Ask to see photos of their work. Ask about price. Patternmaking may be $$$!! You want someone local if possible, so they can measure and fit you in person.

if you don't mind sending stuff across country i am a seamstress and can do what you are suggesting... i have a motto... if you can imagine it, i can make it... even if you just want to draw a picture....lol...

i have pay pal... i charge a $100 deposit for all work... this covers material and any work up to $100 ... i charge $8 an hour for simple sewing and $12 for fancy embroidery and bead work... if the material and work are less than $100 total, the remainder is cheerfully refunded... if the material and labor go over $100, the garments will be delivered on final payment... for cross country customers i will charge shipping...

if you don't find a seamstress in your area, i would be happy to help you

That's EXTREMELY reasonable! As long as you don't require in person fitting, use Evelyn. I'm sure she'll be better than most you'll find out there and you can't beat her prices.

if anyone is still reading this thread, the rates i previously posted are no longer valid... prices had to be raised by 25% due to cost of living increases and inflation... my rates are still reasonable... i no longer do weddings...
